Refurbishment and Modernization of Civil Defense Shelters
Careful preparatory work in the planning phase of a civil defense shelter refurbishment and modernization project ensures the best and most cost-effective outcome. Before requesting a quotation, it is advisable to collect all existing documents and information related to the shelter, the installed units, and all accessories. This helps ensure that the equipment installed in the shelter is of the correct size and type for the specific space.
Getting the Shelter Renovation Right from the Start
Thorough planning ensures that the refurbishment is done correctly from the outset. Product selection must be carried out carefully to ensure that the chosen units (such as ventilation systems and wall sleeves with the correct dimensions) are suitable for the specific shelter and function as intended. For this reason, it is important to contact JTK Power’s experts already at the planning stage. JTK Power’s professionals, or installers authorized by them, carry out civil defence shelter assessments in a way that ensures all aspects relevant to refurbishment are already taken into account at this stage. In some cases, shelters may also contain equipment or systems that are still in excellent working order and have many years of service life remaining. We always act in the customer’s best interests and take this into account when conducting assessments and preparing quotations.
